GAiN Conferences owe a strong legacy to the Reformation era of 500 years ago. When Tyndale translated the Bible into English his aim was to popularise it so that even the ploughboy in the field could read it for himself.
The enterprising printer who rapidly translated Martin Luther’s 95 thesis from Latin to German saw a call for a theological debate turn instead into the equivalent of a twitter campaign across Europe.
The emphasis was on accessibility. The result was reformation.
